THE ORIGIN
The Miss 22 Quties Special Needs Beauty Pageant was originally created to raise awareness of a chromosomal disorder known as 22q11.2 deletion syndrome. Miss 22 Quties' founder, Tammy Rose created the pageant in name sake of her daughter, Alicia, who was diagnosed with 22q11.2 deletion syndrome.
THE FUTURE
Miss 22 Quties has big goals, first and foremost to create a pageant for young women with special needs in every state; to expand our vision of inclusion. This pageant creates somewhere to shine, to learn and develop skills, express yourself and most of all, build friendships and confidence.
