BY CHECKING 'YES' YOU AGREE TO THE STATEMENT.

THESE STATEMENTS WILL BE ENFORCED FOR THE 2024 SEASON.

BEHIND THE SCENES

The Miss 22 Quties Board of Directors recruits numerous volunteers with clearances to assist the participants in the dressing room on the day of the pageant. If your participant needs additional assistance with wardrobe changes, we ask pageant parents to help, but otherwise, remain in the audience. Unfortunately, considering the number of participants, outfits, talent, props, and volunteers, we have very limited space, which limits the number of people we can have backstage. Thank you for being understanding.

I, parent or guardian of the pageant participant acknowledge that parents/guardians are only allowed back stage to assist with wardrobe changes.

PRACTICE DATES

Practices will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM except for dress rehearsal, which will be held at 5:30 PM. A schedule will be provided at the first practice. Missing more than two non-mandatory practices may disqualify you from participating in the pageant. The board reserves the right to deal with missed practices on a case by case basis, however, please recognize that excess absences will not be tolerated as it is unfair to the other participants.

I, parent or guardian of the pageant participant agree to attend the following mandatory practices: 5/21, 7/23, 7/30.
I, parent or guardian of the pageant participant agree to attend a minimum of 6 of the 8 non-mandatory practices.

FINANCIAL COMMITMENT disclaimer

Miss 22 Quties' Board of Directors does everything we can to make the pageant affordable for everyone; however, there are instances where we need assistance. We ask families to participate in fundraisers and contribute to snacks and meals. Our fundraisers include selling at least three pepperoni rolls and contributing to raffle items. Families will be asked to contribute to other needs as they arise. Each family member and guest who attends must purchase a ticket. Our intention is for finances to never become a barrier to participation; if you have concerns, please reach out to us.

GENERAL

I, the parent or guardian of the pageant participant, agree to participate in the required Zroni Roll Fundraiser. Each child participating in the pageant must sell a minimum of three rolls. Miss 22 Quties' Board of Directors will reward the participant who sells the most rolls with a prize.
I, the parent or guardian of the pageant participant, agree to read and reply accordingly to ALL COMMUNICATIONS from the Miss 22 Quties organization VIA EMAIL unless otherwise specified.
I, the parent or guardian of the pageant participant, agreed to partake in the FREE professional headshot session conducted by our official pageant photographer. Date TBD. Only these images will be accepted for use in our program.
I, the parent or guardian of the pageant participant, agree that the pageant participant will wear formal wear during the pageant's question-and-answer portion.
I, the parent or guardian of the pageant participant, agree that I was present during the application process, and I approve of the answers provided. Updates will not be accepted.
I, the parent or guardian of the pageant of the participant, agree that The Miss 22 Quties Board of Directors has the right to update and rephrase any portion of the participant's biography to streamline the presentation.

Please provide us with two questions you would prefer the judges to ask you during the question and answer portion of the pageant.  For example: Who inspires you and why? What do you want to do when you grow up?  What do you enjoy?

Your talent can be no longer than 2 minutes. Please tell us what your talent will be.

Example: dancing to Thriller, a comedy sketch, playing Somewhere Over the Rainbow on piano.

ADVOCACY SPEECH

At the pageant's end, one contestant is selected to give an advocacy speech directed to the unique needs community. This speech focuses on sharing the contestant's goal(s) for impacting this amazing community.

The contestant is welcome to share her story and experiences as part of this speech.

Speeches are limited to two minutes. The contestant must write them to the best of her ability. Assistance may be provided if necessary. Speeches will be given and evaluated before the pageant. One speech will be selected for presentation. More details will be provided during pageant preparation.

I am interested in trying out to give an advocacy speech at the pageant.
